Spring Jordan Lake Clean Up

On April 27, 2025, about 60 volunteers from the CAFA Youth Volunteer group and AYLUS Chapel Hill branch gathered once again at Jordan Lake near Apex, NC, for their spring cleanup. Starting at 10:30 AM, the group—made up of youth and their families—worked along the roadside and lakeshore to collect scattered trash.

Because the local collection center was closed on Sunday, participants took the bags of garbage home for proper disposal. This dedication shows their strong commitment to keeping the lake clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. These regular efforts help ensure Jordan Lake remains a beautiful natural area for the community.
