The Lunar New Year Community Banquet is a warm and festive evening centered on social connection, community engagement, and celebration. Approximately 600 guests—including elected officials, business leaders, nonprofit partners, volunteers, and community representatives—will gather in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to usher in the New Year together.
We are honored that Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell will serve as the keynote speaker for the evening.
In addition to the keynote address, guests will enjoy a dynamic lineup of cultural performances, including:
• Face-Changing (Bian Lian)
• Traditional Chinese Drumming
• Lion Dance
• Traditional Chinese Dance
• Hip-Hop & Contemporary Performances
Guests are also warmly invited to come on stage to offer Lunar New Year greetings to the audience and community. The program is designed to be lively, interactive, and celebratory—encouraging meaningful exchange, cultural appreciation, and joyful connection.

北卡华联春节晚宴 是一场温馨隆重、充满节日氛围的新春盛会，重点围绕 社交交流、社区互动与新年庆祝 展开。预计将有约600位嘉宾出席，包括民选官员、企业领袖、非营利机构代表、义工以及社区代表，共同欢聚一堂，迎接新年的到来。
我们非常荣幸邀请到 罗利市市长 Janet Cowell 担任本次春节晚宴的主旨演讲嘉宾。
除主旨演讲外，晚宴还将呈现精彩纷呈的文化表演节目，包括：
• 变脸（川剧变脸）
• 中国传统大鼓表演
• 舞狮
• 中国民族舞 / 古典舞
• 嘻哈及现代舞表演
现场嘉宾也将受邀上台向社区送上新春祝福。整个晚宴流程设计 热闹而不失温度、互动而富有情感，让大家在欢笑与祝福中增进交流、拉近彼此距离。

We are honored to feature WRAL News anchor Renee Chou as our keynote speaker. Renowned for her outstanding journalism career and passion for storytelling, Renee is a beloved figure in our community. Her inspiring address will reflect on her personal journey, Chinese culture, and the profound significance of the Lunar New Year.
