为了给华联会员以及在北美居住的朋友提供方便，华联自2005年开始提供中国签证以及三级认证服务。证件签证组的工作人员一丝不苟，认真负责，其高质量的服务和诚信得到了无数赞许，帮助了许许多多家庭和个人解决了燃眉之急。华联将一如既往地继续竭诚为大家服务。
Since 2005, CAFA has provided visa/passport and three-level document authentication services for its members. The highly qualified visa and credentialing team continues to offer an efficient and easy experience with integrity to meet the urgent needs of our members and their families. During the pandemic, CAFA visa team continues to provide the much needed services, however there are changes and updates, please refer to the following detailed sessions for more information.
Services
1. 三级认证服务
结婚证、离婚证、死亡证、出生证、学历证明、无犯罪记录证明、委托书（包括房屋买卖、官司诉讼、委托律师、寄养和领养以及其它委托事项）、声明书（包括放弃遗产或继承、美国护照或绿卡是本人持有）、健在证明、各种商业文件，以及特殊事项声明书。在外州的或外州的证明文件也可办理。

注意：使馆不受理任何国内出具的证明文件。
Three-level Document Authentication
Marriage certificates, divorce certificates, birth/death certificates, diplomas, no criminal record certificates, power of attorney (including house sales, lawsuits, attorneys attorney, foster and adoption, etc), declarations (including abandonment of inheritance or inheritance, The U.S. passport or green card holder), proof of health, business licenses, etc. Document authentication from out-of-state or out-of-state can also be processed.

Note: The embassy does not accept any certified documents from China.
2. 签证服务
华联提供代办签证服务。但由于目前仍处在疫情的非常时期，凡申请签证、旅行证和换中国护照的朋友，需本人直接给使馆送邮件陈述理由，得到同意后再可办理。办旅行证和中国护照换发，使馆官员会用视频在网上面试后再寄材料给使馆。以上服务会收取运作费用，华联会员享有优惠价格。如要更新或加入华联会员可由此登录：

Chinese Visa/Passport
CAFA provides visa application services. However, since it is still in the pandemic, all those who apply for visas, travel permits and renewal of Chinese passports need to send an email directly and personally to the embassy to state their reasons, and they can apply after obtaining approval. For the renewal of travel permits and Chinese passports, you will send the documents to the embassy after an online video interview with embassy officials.

Required Documents
To apply the 10-year China visa, please read the following and get required documents ready.
1. A filled visa application form. Please fill out the official China Visa Application Form online (Visa Application Form) and then print it out and sign it. It is important that you fill out the form using a computer. China Embassy no longer accepts any hand written visa application forms. If you are not able to show Chinese characters, you need to install East Asian fonts.
2. Your passport. Passport should be valid for at least 6 months and have at least two blank “Visa” pages. For single entry or double entry visa, your first entry date to China must be within 3 months of your application date. For any multiple-entry visa, you can use it to enter China any time before it expires.
3. One photo. A recently-taken color passport photo (33mm x 48mm) against a white background. For photo requirement details, please check out China Embassy link: Photo Requirement Specification. Please note that the passport photos taken from shops such as CVS or Walgreen are for US passports and no longer meet the requirements for China Visa.
4. One copy of your passport photo and one copy of your driver license.
5. Invitation Letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent residence permit who lives in China. The invitation letter should contain:
A. Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
B. Information on the visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting individual, financial source for expenditures)
C. Information on the inviting individual (name, contact number, address, signature etc.)
D. Invitation letter without signature cannot be accepted.
6. Photocopy of Chinese ID (both sides of the ID) or foreign passport and permanent residence permit of the inviting individual living in China.
7. If you don’t have an invitation letter, you can choose to provide a copy of your flight ticket plus a copy of hotel reservation in China.
8. For people under 18, please provide a copy of birth certificate regardless of whether he/she
obtained visa before. Also, please provide a copy of ID (passport photo page) of a parent who signs the application form. If the parent doesn’t hold a US passport, please provide a copy of Green card.
9. If you have a new passport and obtained a Chinese visa before, please provide a copy of your
old passport photo page and a copy of most recent Chinese visa.
10. Please bring a copy of a contact information sheet CAFA Visa Services Registration From that will help CAFA in managing passport collecting and returning services.

Document Authentication Steps
客户写完文书后可以经国内相关部门确认，认可可以使用后再开始办理文件认证，如果在认证流程全部办妥后，寄回国不能使用，客户自行负全责，服务费一概不退.
Before final submission of the documents, you can have them verified by the relevant Chinese agents. Once the authentication process is completed but the document cannot be used, the customer is solely responsible for it and the service fee will not be refunded.
Step One
1. 公证员认证：准备好所需要认证的文件（必须是中英文对照，一段中文一段英文否则认证机关不接受，）到当地的公证员（notary public）进行公证（必须有公证员的签名，盖章，誓词，所谓誓词就是相当于公证员承认这个人拿着文件当着他的面签的字）。注意：誓词相当重要，如果缺少誓词，使馆是拒绝收件的，就算当地州政府和国务院做了认证也没用，因为使馆不收！如办理全套1-4步，华联将代为办理第一步，本人不需找公证员认证.
Notarize your documents: Prepare the documents(must be in both Chinese and English) to be notarized by a local notary public. CAFA can bundle this service for you for a fee.
Step Two
2. 州政府认证：Notary public 做完公证后，再到州政府进行认证（AUTHENTICATION). 北卡的流程可见网站，https://www.sosnc.gov/authen/authinfo.aspx。这个是连接。一般都可以邮寄或本人亲自去。（如果文件，如死亡证明，出生证明，结婚证明等由州政府出具的文书，具体可见上面链接，不需要经过 Notary public 的公证）
All documents must be certified by the Secretary of State’s office in the state where the document was issued. CAFA can bundle this service for you for a fee.
Step Three
3. 国务院 （US State Dept）认证：州政府认证完成后，提交国务院 （US State Dept），进行认证（AUTHENTICATION）。
Documents issued in certain states must be authenticated by the US Department of State after certification by local secretary of state’s office. These states include Washington DC, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming, or are FBI reports. CAFA can bundle this service for a fee.
Step Four
中国大使馆认证：国务院认证完成后，递送使馆，需要提交公证认证申请表和申请人的身份证明（护照）
Documents will be authenticated by the Chinese Embassy/Consulate that holds consular jurisdiction over the state where the document is certified. Must be submitted with application and passport as identification. CAFA Can bundle this service for a fee.

问：已经拿到十年签证的人现在可以回国吗？
答：按照目前的规定，暂時不能回国，但十年签证仍然有效。
Q: Can people who have obtained a ten-year visa go to China now?
A: According to the current regulations, you cannot return to China for the time being, but the 10-year visa is still valid.
问：现在如需要回国如何申请签证？
答：如有特殊情况，本人可直接与使馆联系，发邮件到这个邮箱：

提出申请，使馆会告知所需证明。使馆同意后需预约时间，本人亲自去使馆办理。拿到新签证后就可以回国。

Q: How can I apply for a visa if I need to return to China?
A: In case of special circumstances, you can directly contact the embassy by sending an email to this email address: visaoffice.dc@gmail.com.
When you apply, the embassy will inform you of the required documents. With the embassy’s approval, you need to make an appointment and go to the embassy in person to process the application. After getting the new visa, you can then make the arrangements to return to China.

问：现在仍然可以申请旅行证吗？
答：可以，与以上签证要求一样。提出申请，使馆同意后可以在网上视频面试，再将资料寄给使馆。
Q: Can I still apply for a travel permit?
A:: Yes, the requirements are the same as the above. After the application is submitted, the embassy can conduct an online video interview then you can send the required documents to the embassy to be processed.
问：中国护照过期后还能换发吗？
答：可以，但如不是紧急需要，建议等使馆重新开门后再办理。
Q: Can a Chinese passport be reissued after it expires?
A: Yes, but if it is not an emergency, it is recommended to wait for the embassy to reopen for normal operations.
